Hi everyone,
I would like to share with you my card for this month's challenge: "Going round in circles" over at A Vintage Journey Challenge Blog.

I have created a vintage, grunge, masculine style card.

I have distressed the edges of my patterned paper with a paper distressing tool, then inked the edges with Tim Holtz's distress inks.

I have also added stamped images to my patterned paper before adding this piece to my card as shown.

My circles are Kaisercraft decorative die - Interlock circles. I die cut one set of circles in brown & one set of circles in black cardstock.

I have then glued my black die cut circles behind the brown circles to create a shadow effect and added some gesso to the circles before adhering this whole piece to my card.

Thanks for stopping by,
Have a wonderful day & happy creating,

Hi everyone,
I would like to share with you my mixed media creation for this month's challenge: "Anything goes" BLUE over at More Mixed Media Challenge Blog

Here I have recycled, repurposed & reused a tin for my creation.
I like to decorate my recycled tins & use them as storage for my pens & pencils.
My finished creations make a lovely display on my bookshelf.

To start this project I added tissue paper and gesso & covered the whole outside surface of the tin before tearing up a decorative paper napkin and adding this over the entire surface.

I applied some blue paint to the top & bottom edges and sprayed it all over with perfect pearls mist - forever blue spray.

I added an image as a focal point then decorated with lace, flowers, beads, leaves and other trinkets.

And yes some glitter glue, this just adds to the finishing touch.

Thanks for stopping by,
Have a wonderful day & happy creating,
Leanne
Hi everyone,
I would like to share with you my card for this month's challenge: 111 "What's new" over at In The Pink challenge blog. So happy I found your challange blog as my favourite colour is PINK.

My patterned paper is from Kaisercrafts: Peek-a-Boo Collection.

I have inked the edges of my  patterned paper with Kaisercrafts (petal pink ink pad) and added layers of patterned paper, pink laces, pretty pink flowers, pink cherries, self-adhesive pearls, and glitter.

This card would suit any of these special occasions:  Birthday, Engagement, Wedding or Aniversary.

Thanks for stopping by.
Have a wonderful day & happy creating,

Hi everyone,
Today I would like to share with you my project for the December Winter Magic challenge at A Vintage Journey Challenge Blog.

My snowman started out as a polystyrene snowman to which I add texture paste and lots of glitter.
My snowman was then glued to a recycled box that contained a fine china tea cup. The box was covered with patterned paper, lace, snow writer dimensional effects, glitter & embellishments.
The hat was created from a cereal box.
I then add black paint using a stippling brush as I wanted to create texture to make it look more like a velvet hat.
His nose was made from air dry clay, then painted.
His arms are twigs from my garden that I have painted and glittered.
While his scarf is made from hand dyed cheese cloth.
Pearls and trinkets were added to finish.

Thanks for stopping by,
Have a wonderful day & happy creating,
Leanne
