Shabby Chic Card
Hello everyone,
Leanne here to share with you my vintage style shabby chic centre step card I created using the stunning Lavande paper collection. This collection of patterned papers is very feminine & perfect for any paper craft project.

Here I have distressed then inked the patterned papers with tea dye distress ink to create a vintage shabby chic look.

A handcrafted flower, a die-cut large leaf, punched out leaves & tiny flowers all created with the lavande patterned paper adorn the centre panel.

Glimmer mist & gesso were splattered all over then diamantes were added for a touch of romance & bling.

Until next time.

Criteria is vintage style or featuring children or both.

Artwork by Ethel Spowers called The Kite

This is a picture of me going to my very first fancy dress ball. My mum made my outfit in satin, tulle & adorned with sequins & she even hand painted my shoes. I felt very special indeed.

Each layer of patterned paper has been distressed then inked with distress ink Milled Lavender. Lace was then added to create a soft feminine look.

Monday, 1 May 2017

Hi everyone,
Today I am sharing with you my scrapbook page I made for the new challenge over at 123 challenge blog.  I am a guest designer for the month of May.
This month's challenge is:
Word: Family
Colour: Teal
Technique: Stenciling

This photo is of my Parent's Wedding Day.

To create my page I first distressed the edges of the patterned paper, then I added teal ink.
I applied texture paste to my stencil, allow paste to completely dry.
To create my stain, I sponged some teal ink onto a saucer & added a small amount of water to the ink, I then flicked & dripped this mixture over the stenciled areas.
I also sprayed a touch of heirloom gold mist to the stenciled areas. Next I have torn & inked some floral patterned paper.
I added a gold frame to the photo, before raising it up, this allowed me to tuck under some die cut shapes & doily pieces.

To finish I decorated with cheesecloth, lace shapes, flowers, pearls & gold leaves.

Thanks for stopping by,
Have a wonderful day & happy creating,
Leanne
