ME

Hello everyone,
I would like to share with you my scrapbook page I created for this month's challenge over at ARTastic Challenge Blog
Criteria is vintage style or featuring children or both.

Artwork by Ethel Spowers called The Kite

This is a picture of me going to my very first fancy dress ball. My mum made my outfit in satin, tulle & adorned with sequins & she even hand painted my shoes. I felt very special indeed.

Until next.
Thanks for stopping by.
Have a wonderful day & happy creating.

Beautiful

Hello everyone,
I would like to share with you my scrapbook page I have created with the stunning Lavande 12"x12" scrapbook patterned papers from Meg's Garden online store: http://www.megsgarden.com/.

Each layer of patterned paper has been distressed then inked with distress ink Milled Lavender. Lace was then added to create a soft feminine look.

A cluster of flowers, leaves, a metal charm, pearl trim, cheesecloth & stamens were added to complete my layout.

Be sure to checkout Meg's Garden Blog: http://megsgardenblog.blogspot.com.au/ to see all the wonderful creations from the design team.

Until next time.

Hi everyone,
Today I am sharing with you my scrapbook page I made for the new challenge over at 123 challenge blog.  I am a guest designer for the month of May.
This month's challenge is:
Word: Family
Colour: Teal
Technique: Stenciling

This photo is of my Parent's Wedding Day.

To create my page I first distressed the edges of the patterned paper, then I added teal ink.
I applied texture paste to my stencil, allow paste to completely dry.
To create my stain, I sponged some teal ink onto a saucer & added a small amount of water to the ink, I then flicked & dripped this mixture over the stenciled areas.
I also sprayed a touch of heirloom gold mist to the stenciled areas. Next I have torn & inked some floral patterned paper.
I added a gold frame to the photo, before raising it up, this allowed me to tuck under some die cut shapes & doily pieces.

To finish I decorated with cheesecloth, lace shapes, flowers, pearls & gold leaves.

Thanks for stopping by,
Have a wonderful day & happy creating,
Leanne

Lavendar & Lace
Hi everyone,
I would like to share with you my card for this month's challenge over at Double D Challenge Blog.
Check out this month's fabulous mood board.

Firstly I die cut my leaf shape in chipboard. I coloured the chipboard all over with milled lavendar distress ink, then add touches of peeled paint distress ink.

I have added layers of coloured and patterned paper to my cardbase.
Next I die cut a doily shape in white cardstock & apply milled lavendar ink to the edges before adding this to my card.
The inked leaf shape was added next.
Then I splattered some diluted gesso all over the card.
To finish I added flowers, a butterfly, a loopy bow, beaded cherries & self-adhesive pearls.

Woodland fairy

Hi everyone,
I would like to share with you my card for this month's challenge over at Beccy's Place Blog

I have created my card using Beccy's Place image: Woodland Fairy.

I have coloured the image with coloured pencils and added touches of glitter with a gold gel pen.
I fussy cut around the image and added 3D foam tape before adding to my card.
My card was decorated with lace, trim, pearl trim, pearls, sequin flowers & shaved ice.
